Bauble Bling

To make this card you will need:
A5 card blank
Kanban Twinkle Snow Card
Aqua Blue Glitz Card
Kanban Contemporary Bauble's Toppers
Silver Mirri Card
Kanban Bling stick-on Gems
Stix2 Foam pads 3mmDouble sided tape
Instructions:
- Take an A5 card and score the front in half and fold the front back on itself to get the basic concertina shape.
- Cut the following pieces of card: a piece of Kanban Twinkle Snow card to measure 15cm by 21cm. a piece of blue glitter card to measure 7.5 cm by 21 cm. a piece of silver mirror card to measure 2.5 cm by 21 cm.
- Print your sentiment onto paper and trim it to measure 14.4cm by 20.5 cm. Fold the paper in half and secure to the card blank on the back portion of the card only.
- Stick the Kanban Twinkle Snow card onto the back part of the card so that it covers up half of the paper with the printed sentiment and butts up to the fold. Stick the blue Glitter card to the very front of the card.
- From the Kanban Contemporary Baubles Toppers, remove the large bauble panel and the strip from the left hand side with the sentiment running along it. Mat the strip onto the mirror card and attach this to the middle of the blue glitter card and affix 6 Kanban bling clear stick on gems, 3 at each end of the strip.
- Fix the Kanban bauble panel to the back section of the card using 3mm Stix2 foam pads.

Festive Teddy

Ingredients:
Recipe:
*Using the white, green and red card stock cut to these measurements white 60x75mm red- 65x80mm Green - 70x85mm I have rounded the edges of these pieces of card using a corner round punch but it is also easy to draw around a penny and cut the arc with a pair of scissors, i then did the same to the outside corners of the square white card blank.
* Using the black in pad, ink and stamp the Christmas teddy onto the white 60x75mm card stock and colour with your choice of colour medium, in this case i have used promarkers.
* Take the 'xmas red' stickles and decorate the teddy's hat and then adding the stickle dots at the two diagonal corners of the image. Let this dry for around half an hour.
* Take the candy cane image and stamp this onto the bottom right hand corner of your square card blank, then colour and add some xmas red stickles to the ribbon. Let this dry.
* Add double sided tape to the back of the white, red and green card stock rectangles that you have already cut, mount these together eg. white on top of red, then on top of green. Now mount them on the square white card blank.
* Add the sentiment to the top of the card above the image and tie the contrasting ribbon around the card into a double knot and cut the two edges diagonally.
* This is basically the completed card but for an extra professional look you can add a piece of plain white paper to fit inside the card, again round the edges. On this particular one i found a babies first Christmas' verse and printed it out on the insert paper but you can also stamp a sentiment on instead, then to finish i have stamped the teddy image on the opposite side of the insert, then with double sided tape along the front inner edge of the insert, stick this into the card.

Shaker Bauble

You will need:
14cm (140mm) Square Card Blank
Silver Mirri Card
Small piece of Pale Blue Card
DCWV Pocket Full of Posies Paper
Kanban Contemporary Baubles Craft Toppers
Acetate
Double Sided Tape
3mm Foam Pads
Diamond Stickles
Small Blue Beads
Kanban Bling gems
Silver Border Peel-Offs
Tools: Craft Knife, Scissors, Cutting tool, Steel Ruler
Instructions:
1) Take the Kanban topper of the Christmas tree in a bauble and using Diamond Stickles, highlight the snow in the bauble, the white glint on the bauble and add a few tiny drops inside the bauble as glittering snow. Set the topper aside for 2-3 hours to dry.
2) Cut a piece of Silver Mirri Card to 13.5 cm by 13.5 cm and mount this onto your card blank. Tip: If you cut out the middle of the mirri card leaving a 1-1.5cm border round the edge, before mounting it, you can use the middle piece for another project and your card will weigh less.
3) Cut the blue leafy pattern paper from the Pocketful of Posies stack to 13cm by 13 cm. Tie a piece of 3mm silver ribbon around one side and knot it near the top edge. Mount the leafy pattern paper centrally onto the mirri card.
4) To make the shaker: a. Cut a 9cm by 11cm piece of Mirri card and mount your dry glittered topper onto the middle of it. b. Cut 4 strips of 3mm foam pads and stick these around the edges of the mirri card making sure there are no gaps. Leave the other piece of tape on the foam pads for the time being. Tip: if you now sprinkle a bit of talcum powder onto the inside edges of the foam pads and shake off the excess it will stop your beads adhering to the foam. c. Sprinkle some beads onto your topper; not too many or you won’t be able to see the image or shake them. d. Remove the tape from the foam pads and stick a piece of acetate measuring 9cm by 11cm onto the foam pads
5) Make a frame for the shaker: a. Cut a piece of light blue card to measure 11.5 cm by 9.5 cm. Cut an aperture in this card measuring 7.5 cm by 9.5 cm. Tip: to centre the aperture, on the reverse of your blue card, make marks all round the card 1cm in from the outside edges. Join the marks into lines and your aperture is centred. b. Attach silver border peel-offs to the outside edges of the frame c. Mount the frame onto your shaker
6) Attach the shaker and frame to your card. Add 6 blue Kanban gems to the frame to complete the look.
7) Decorate the inside of your card, or add an insert.

Twisted Abstract Pyramage
1) Lay the card width ways infront of you. Cut 7cm from the left hand side and fold the remaining into the centre fold. This makes the front of the card.
2) Fold the right side into the centre of the card and lay flat again.
3)Using the new fold in the right side draw a line 1.5cm from the bottom edge running to the outside edge. Draw a second line 4.5cm along the new fold from the top edge. Join the two lines together 4cm along.
4)Using a craft knife and a ruler cut along all 3 lines in the regtangle. Rub out all pencil lines. Bend the side back into the centre again leaving the flap out. Turn card over and recrease folds.
5) Ink round all edges using fluid chalk.
6) Cut two regtangles from the Ruby Satin Merry Christmas Card. The first 13.5cmx6.5cm and the second 13.5cmx3cm. Using double sided tape stick the large rectangle to the panel under the flap and the small one to the first panel.
7) Using double sided tape stick the Duotwist image to the card with half covering the flap and half on the panel below.
8) Wrap the ribbon around the first panel and tie at the front. If you don't have fluid chalks use glitter around the edges and add a bit if sparkle.

Blue Medallion

To make this card you will need:-
Morning Star Medallion stamp
Square white card blank 14 cm x 14 cm
A4 white card Silver card, measuring 13cm x 13 cm
Blue card, measuring 12 ½ cm x 12 ½ cm
Silver and blue patterned paper, measuring 12 cm x 12 cm
Hampton Art tinted embossing ink pad
Heat It Up – silver embossing powder Glitter,
Crystal Lacquers, Stickles or which ever medium you will use to colour
Heat gun
Stix2 foam pads Double sided tape Ribbon or 4 white brads
Instructions:-
Using the Hampton Art tinted embossing ink pad, ink up the Medallion Morning Star stamp and stamp it onto the piece of A4 white card. Immediately sprinkle some Heat It Up silver embossing powder over where you stamped. Shake off the excess embossing powder and put it back in your tub.
Next, using your heat gun, heat the stamped image until the embossing powder starts to melt. You need to repeat this another 3 times – so you will then have 4 stamped and heat embossed images. (You don’t need to stop at just 4 layers – I am sure there are lots more within the design)
Using scissors or a craft knife, carefully cut out your layers, following the design of the stamp. Colour/glitter your stamped layers. I used ultra fine white glitter and true blue Twinkling H20’s on my card.
I did all my glittering first and left it to dry for a few hours before painting the H20’s on.
On your white square card blank add the piece of silver card centrally. Then add the blue card and finally the silver and blue paper. When your stamped layers are completely dry, you can now layer them up.
Start off with the biggest layer/bottom layer in front of you and attach foam pads to the back of the second layer. Make sure you line the design up with the bottom layer.
Then add the third layer and top layer, again using foam pads.
Once your medallion is complete, mount it centrally onto your card using double sided tape.
Finally add a ribbon and bow down the left hand side of your card. Or alternatively add some white brads like I have done in the other example card.

Christmas Twirler

For This Project, You Will Need:
Equipment: 1 x Circle Cutter or Sharp Craft Knife Cutting Mat, Scissors, 12” Rule
1 x “Merry Christmas” Plaque from the same topper sheet
19cm Piece of Thread (invisible is best, but white is fine)
Method:
1. Fold your A4 cream card in half, with the front of the card facing you.
2. Measure down 10cm from the top of your card and 7.2cm in from the side – this will be the midpoint of your circular aperture.
3. Cut an 11cm circular aperture, using either a circle cutter or a sharp craft knife.
4. Cut 2 pieces of the patterned vellum, each measuring 15.5cm wide x 3cm high. Stick into place on the top and bottom of the card using double-sided tape, folding the excess over to the back of the card to give a neat finish.
5. Apply straight line gold border peel-offs to the edges of the vellum and a wavy line or link design peel-off to the edge of your aperture (this will allow the peel-off to be shaped around the circle).
6. Apply some double-sided foam pads to the back of one of the “Merry Christmas” plaques from the toppers sheet and apply to the bottom of the card, as shown.
7. Make the insert by trimming 5mm all the way round a sheet of A4 white paper. Fold in half. Then, using the same measurements as in Step 2 above, find the centre point for your circle, but this time cut a 12cm aperture (so it is not visible from the front of the card). Set the insert aside for now.
8. Cut a 19cm piece of invisible thread. Apply vertically through the centre of the reverse of one of the large round toppers using double-sided tape. Use some more double-sided tape to fix to the other large topper, so you now have a 2-sided image.
9. Apply a small piece of double-sided tape vertically to the top and bottom of the inside of your card, ensuring it is centred and in a straight line (measure in 7.2cm from the edge of your card). Attach the top and bottom sections of thread to the card and cover with a small piece of card, paper or single-sided tape (from your many scraps!).
10. Now fix your insert into place using a strip of double-sided tape.
Christmas Baubles

Materials
Merry Christmas printed mirri-card
1. Cut two strips of the card 2 cm wide, and just long enough to fit across your card (I always tend to cut a bit long, and then trim down to fit). Make sure to cut the strips in the same direction as the text.
2. Put one strip 2cm from the top of the card, and one 2cm from the bottom, using double sided tape to attach.
3. Select three baubles. You can either go for ones in the same colour, or go for contemporary contrasting colours. Thread them through with silver string/ribbon.
4. Using foam pads, mount the three baubles across the middle of the card (between the two strips of text card) at varying heights.
5. Embellish the bottom right hand corner of the card with 3 bling crystal gems, either in the same colour as the baubles, or in silver to match the mirri-card.
6. For a professional and consistent finish, stamp the inside of the card with the Merry Christmas stamp, using black ink.

Gold Medallion

To make this card you will need:-
pieces of white card cut to 10cm x 10cm and 4cm x 5.5cm
Gold Dufex Christmas greetings topper
Instructions:-
Using the Hampton Art tinted embossing ink pad, ink up the Medallion Morning Star stamp and stamp it onto the piece of A4 white card. Immediately sprinkle some Heat It Up gold tinsel embossing powder over where you stamped. Shake off the excess embossing powder and put it back in your tub. Next, using your heat gun, heat the stamped image until the embossing powder starts to melt.
Repeat this another 3 times – so you will then have 4 stamped and heat embossed images. (You don’t need to stop at just 4 layers – you could do 6 or 7 layers)
Using scissors or a craft knife, carefully cut out your layers, following the design of the stamp. Colour/glitter your stamped layers. I used gold Stickles first and filled in all the parts on the images I wanted gold. I then left them to dry, before then using glue and glamour dust on the other parts.
On your white A5 card blank add the largest piece of gold mirri card (20cm x 13.85cm) centrally. Then on top of this add the piece of Christmas design paper (19cm x 12.85cm). Put your main card to one side for now.
Take your square piece of white card (10cm x 10cm) and attach this centrally on top of your gold mirri card square (10.5cm x 10.5cm). I then added four gold brads, one in each corner.
When your medallion layers are completely dry, you can now layer them up. Start off with the biggest layer/bottom layer in front of you and attach foam pads to the back of the second layer. Make sure you line the design up with the bottom layer.
Then add the third layer and top layer, again using foam pads.
Now take your medallion and mount it onto your matted gold and white square centrally, again using foam pads.
Then add this onto the front of your main card using double sided tape.
Finally mat and layer your gold Dufex Christmas greeting topper onto your small piece of white card (4cm x 5.5cm) and then layer this onto your small piece of gold mirri card (5.5cm x 6cm) then add this to your main card using either foam pads or double sided tape.

Christmas Matchbox

To make this you will need:- Small match box blank 2” x 1 ½”
4 Small chipboard tags – or cut your own from mount board 1 ¾” x 1”
Various small Christmas stamps
Christmas background stamp
Distress ink pads, Fired Brick and Peeled Paint
2 pieces of cut n dry foam or you can use small pieces of sponge
Archival ink pad – Jet Black
Dark Red dye based ink pad
Cosmic Shimmer ultra thick embossing crystals – Golden Lustre
Hampton Art tinted embossing ink pad
Scrap piece of card to make a mask of your stamped images
Small piece of Christmas paper approx 2” x ½”
Low tack tape
Metallic thread
Heat Gun
Pricking Tool
Instructions
1. Remove the inside part from your match box and put it to one side. Gently push on your match box outer to flatten it so it is easier to work on.
2. Take a stamp which you would like on the front of your match box and ink it up using jet black archival ink and then stamp this onto the front part of your match box. Ink the stamp up again and stamp it onto your scrap piece of card.
3. Cut out the stamped image from your scrap piece of card, as you will use this as a mask. Put a little low tack tape on the back of your cut out stamped image and lay it directly onto of the stamped image on your match box.
4. If you want another stamped image on the back of your match box cover then repeat steps 2 and 3 above.
5. Lightly tap a piece of sponge onto the fired brick ink pad and then lightly apply the ink to parts of the match box cover. Then take your peeled paint ink pad and another piece of foam/sponge and again lightly pick up some ink from your pad and lightly apply this until your cover/outer is fully coloured in either fired brick or peeled paint ink. Do not remove the masked images yet.
6. Now take a Christmas background stamp and ink it up using a dark red dye based ink pad and then randomly stamp this over the match box cover. You can now remove the masked images and colour your stamped images on your match box cover.
7. Take your Hampton Art tinted embossing ink pad and ink up one side of your match box cover – the best way to do this is to lay your match box cover on top of the ink pad and press down on it with your fingers. Remove the cover from your ink pad and sprinkle Cosmic Shimmer ultra thick embossing crystals over it. Shake off the excess and put it back into the pot. Heat with your heat gun until the crystals melt – be careful as your match box cover will become very hot. After a few seconds, repeat the above step on the back of your match box cover. Your match box cover is now finished.
8. Take your four small tags and decorate them the same way you did for your cover. Steps 2 to 7. When your tags are decorated make a small hole using a pricking tool and thread some metallic thread through them to tie them together. Alternatively, you could put metallic thread on each one and it would make a nice Christmas decoration to hang on your Christmas tree.
9. Take the base/inside of your match box and colour it using distress inks – as in step Finally add a small piece of Christmas backing paper to the inside of your base.
10. Your altered match box is now finished and you can put your tags inside.

Winter Companions Card
.jpg)
For This Project, You Will Need: Equipment:
Scissors 12” Rule
Materials: 1 x Sheet of A4 225gsm Forest Green Card
1 x Sheet of A4 White Paper (optional)
1 x Strip of Gold Mirror Card – 21cm x 2.5cm 1 x Strip of Red Card – 21cm x 3.5cm 1 x Strip of Red Card – 21cm x 1.5cm
1 x Large Square Topper from Kanban “Christmas Tales” Toppers Sheet 1 x “Merry Christmas” Plaque from the same Toppers Sheet
Double-Sided Tape
2mm Foam Pads
Stickles – Frosted Lace (optional)
Method:
1. Fold your green card in half.
2. Apply double-sided tape to the reverse of the gold mirror card and both strips of red card. Layer these up, with the widest strip of red card first, followed by the gold mirror card and finally the second strip of red card on top.
3. Apply the layered strips of card to your green card, leaving a 3.5cm border at the bottom of the card.
4. Apply 2mm foam pads to the reverse of the large square topper and the “Merry Christmas” plaque.
5. Attach the square topper to your card, leaving a border of 1cm at the left hand side and at the bottom of the card.
6. Attach the “Merry Christmas” plaque at the right hand side, as shown, again with a 1cm border at the side.
7. If you wish to add an insert to your card, trim 5cm off all round a sheet of A4 white paper, fold in half and stick inside your card using double-sided tape. TIP: When making inserts, always apply your adhesive to the side which will be opened first – this is usually the left hand side (on the reverse of the front of your card). This way, the insert won’t flap about when the card is opened and it will also hide any workings which have been made on the front of the card e.g. brads, bits of ribbon etc.
8. For an extra special touch, finish your card off by applying some Frosted Lace Stickles on the tree branches, on top of the log and on the ground for a sparkly snow effect.

Place double sided tape to the back of this card then take the longest piece of ribbon and stick this to the back of the red card making sure to leave enough ribbon at each side so as it can be tied around the front when the backing paper is added. Now layer this red card with ribbon attached to the forest green card.

I then added doodle dots around the sentiment with a white gel pen.
* Inserts can be added by using a plain white piece of paper and sticking to the inside of the card with double sided tape, i have printed a verse using my computer and i alway's like to add a stamped image to the opposite side, i have used the candy cane from the Christmas Teddies set.
