This is tea bag folding, a simple form of origami which can be used to decorate cards, scrapbooks, frames and boxes. Tea bag folding was created in Holland by Tiny Van der Plas while she was drinking tea and thinking about an original card design for her sister. She absent mindedly started folding the small, colourful tea bag packets and was delighted with the designs that suddenly emerged as she started arranging the folded squares into different shapes.
